Contents of PowerPoint Presentation


The following are the contents of a PowerPoint presentation. Such as - Slide, Place Holder, Slide Layout, Outline, Notes Page and Handout.

Slide

Slide is the most important content of a presentation. In which we keep the content through which we present a topic. We can add the following content like - Text, Audio Clip, Video Clip, Picture, Charts etc.

Place Holder

Place holders are those dotted rectangles made in slides, to which text, audio clips, video clips, pictures, charts, etc. are added.

Slide Layout 

The layout of the slide is made based on different arrangement of place holder.


Outline

This is found in the left panel in the program window, in which only the text written in the presentation is shown, no graphic or picture.

Notes Page

It is used to write notes for a slide and it can also be printed along with the slide for the audience.

Handout

Handouts are used to print more than one slide on a page.
